4Dimensional Assessment ^(TM) is an analysis of your entire circumstances, looking forward through your goals. However, we also look back through through time to the business and personal history which got you to where you are today as it pushes you into the future. As we assess your assets from technology to real estate, we look deep into your operations and existing plans for the potentially fatal flaws, the single points of vulnerability which can cause your strategies to run aground. You may not want to see, or your people may be afraid to let you see, the negatives. Yet without that grounding in reality, you are fated to walk into the crisis trap. Therefore, we analyze not only the nature of your products and customers, operations and environment, but employee, vendor, and strategic partner relationships. We look at issues from employment structure, executive deployment, and governance to intellectual property strategy. We turn over all the stones in assessing risk and deriving solutions.

Sometimes everyone inside knows, sometimes it's just one or two who realize that a critical change in the world is about to void your plans, or a big chunk of your plans. Now that we have a good picture of where you have been and understand where you want to go, we can understand what is important to you in the here and now but may have been overlooked, forgotten or suppressed. Through review of the business operations, contracts, and relationships, we isolate the existing problems which are or can grow to be the chief obstacles for your business. It's not just the major problems which create a major crisis, but also the smaller, seemingly limited petty actions and omissions and petty personal conflicts. Through survey, interview and review of the business, we identify what your people know but haven't said or have said unheard.

How many patterns and problems persist over time to cause the same or similar crises again and again? The past is not irrelevant. It always precedes the future. How many crises have erupted on the weak foundation left by history's related and unrelated crises? What has been overlooked as having been done halfway, done in error and left undone? Through a thorough interviewing process and review of your practices and changes over time, we work to identify not just the still active problems of the past, but the sleeper problems you have forgotten or never knew were there. We analyze your past to determine where you have been and how it affects where you are going.
